How to Find a Lot/Batch Number for COA
Lot and Batch Numbers can be found on a product's label following the words 'Lot' or 'Batch'.
For a lot number such as TO09019TO, enter it as 09019TO (without the first two letters 'TO').
For a lot number with a filling-code such as 05427ES-021, enter it as 05427ES (without the filling-code '-021').
For a lot number with a filling-code such as STBB0728K9, enter it as STBB0728 without the filling-code 'K9'.
In some cases, a COA may not be available online. If your search was unable to find the COA you can request one.
If available for a given product, the recommended re-test date or the expiration date can be found on the Certificate of Analysis.
The lot specific COA document can be found by entering the lot number above under the "Documents" section.
Tyrosinase can be dissolved in 50 mM potassium phosphate buffer at 2 mg/mL. Solutions are expected to retain activity for several days in the refrigerator (2-8°C) and for several weeks in the freezer (-20°C).
The product is shipped at ambient temperature and is stable for up to two weeks during shipment. Once received, it is recommended to store the product at -20°C to insure the quality for long term storage.
The certificate of analysis for the lot will report the exact tyrosinase activity for a particular batch. The lot number can be found on the label of the bottle, or you can call technical service (800-325-5832) for a sample lot number to view the online certificate of analysis.
The difference between these two products is that T3824 has been stabilized with trehalose, while T7755 was not.
