Low-profile roller

Weather-proof roller operates on benchtop, in dry or humid incubators, in cold rooms to 0°C, and even in ovens to 65°C. Use for cell culture with standard roller bottles and in filter blot applications with hybridization bottles (below). Unit is supplied with six gear-driven rollers, to rotate three large bottles at variable speed, 0.25−8 rpm. Rollers can be moved closer together to accommodate small bottles and tubes, and up to five more rollers can be added; as many as thirty 10 × 75 mm tubes can be turned at 2−67 rpm. Unit is powered by a cool-running 24 VDC motor. Thin, flat AC power cord (US only) reaches external outlet without damaging incubator or refrigerator gasket.
