General description
Designed for stirring in awkward vessels, for gently mixing staining solutions above delicate gels, or for quickly dissolving chemicals. A small flat capsule contains the magnetic stirring bar that spins freely inside without contact with the vessel bottom or gel. The protective capsule is molded with polystyrene and shelters a Spinbar magnetic stirring bar which is molded with inert PTFE. Bar diameter is 1 3/16 in.
