General description
Capillary ferrules have a precision bore which is centrally located. During assembly of a connector, fiber is fixed within the ferrule using adhesive before grinding and polishing for end preparation. This ferrule provides a leak-free connection for GC analysis.
CapSeal Bullet™ ferrules consist of a graphite material captured in an aluminum base. This unique design keeps the ferrule from adhering to the fitting, making it easy to remove. Eliminate the headache of digging out a stuck ferrule and risking damage to your fitting.
Characteristics: Seals at 1/8 turn past finger tight. Reusable. A special end taper reduces graphite extrusion into fitting.
