capillary polar

General description

Application: The first of our third generation ionic liquid columns. Modified (triflate anion) version of SLB-IL59 increases inertness. Selectivity more polar than PEG/wax phases, resulting in unique elution patterns. Higher maximum temperature than PEG/wax columns (290 ºC compared to 270-280 ºC). Great choice for analysis of neutral and moderately basic analytes. Launched in 2010.
