General description

Riboflavin (B2) is a vitamin, which is a vital component of mitochondrial energy production. It can be used in the treatment of mitochondrial dysfunction and also for the prophylactic treatment of migraine in adults. It is a part of the coenzyme flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD), involved in a number of oxidation and reduction reactions.
