General description

The equipment needed to perform post-column reactions can be relatively simple. These components (glass beads, acid-washed) enable easy and economic construction of desired systems. For large peak volumes, the use of a column (5 cm x 4.6 mm) filled with 250 μm beads is recommended. For small peak volumes, a single bead string reactor (30 cm of 0.5 mm I.D. PTFE tubing) filled with 250 μm beads may be utilized.
