Application

Acifluorfen is a post-emergence herbicide and particularly effective against broad-leaved weeds and grasses. It is also a pesticide transformation product. As per the regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 it is not approved for use as plant protection product in the European Union. A default maximum residuel level (MRL) of 0.01 mg/kg has been set for acifluorfen according to Art 18(1)(b)Reg. (EU) No 2022/1346 for various products of plant and animal origin from 0.05 - 15 mg/kg. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
