Application

1,4-Dichlorobenzene is used as an insecticide to control moths, molds and mildew. It is not listed in the European Union pesticide database. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has set a target maximum contaminant level of 75µg/L drinking water. It is also a EPA-registered pesticide. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
