Application

This USP reference standard is intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia.
It is also used in the preparation of standard solution for determining the concentration of residual ethylene glycol as an impurity in ethoxylated products by gas chromatography (GC) coupled to a flame ionization detector (FID), in accordance with the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) chapter 469 “Ethylene Glycol, Diethylene Glycol, and Triethylene Glycol in Ethoxylated Products”.
