Application

Hydralazine hydrochloride USP reference standard, intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia. Also, for use with USP monographs such as:
  • Hydralazine Hydrochloride Injection
  • Hydralazine Hydrochloride Tablets

Biochem/physiol Actions

Inhibits DNA methyltransferase and modulates epigenetic regulation of gene expression. Non-selective MAO-A/B inhibitor; antihypertensive; semicarbazide-sensitive amine oxidase inhibitor.
