General description
AAT Bioquest's iFluor® dyes are optimized for labeling proteins, particularly antibodies. iFluor® 532 has a fluorescence quantum yield higher than Alexa Fluor® 532 by ~40% under the same conditions. In addition, iFluor® 532 is much more stable at a high pH range (e.g., 8-10, commonly used in DNA sequencing) than Alexa Fluor® 532. iFluor® 532 SE is reasonably stable and shows good reactivity and selectivity with protein amino groups.
