(1R)-(-)-10-Camphorsulfonic acid ammonium salt may be used as an ion-pair reagent to enhance the ability of supercritical carbon dioxide to extract polar compounds in supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) process.[1][2] It can also be used in the synthesis of (-)-quadrone.[3]
