General description

硼氢化钠也称四氢硼酸钠，它是一种强碱性氢化硼，常用作还原剂。它与水反应缓慢，可用作催化剂和稳定剂。

Application

硼氢化钠可用作以下反应的还原剂：

通过共还原过程由氯化钴(CoCl₂) 合成氧化钴(II, III) (Co₃O₄)。
在固体酸活化剂存在的情况下，醛和酮类经无溶剂还原反应生成醇类。
在硅胶负载硫酸催化剂存在的情况下，羰基化合物经过还原胺化转化为仲胺。
芳硝基化合物在雷尼镍催化下还原为芳香胺。
