General description

Sulfur hexafluoride is a stable gas with higher dielectric strength and density than air. It acts as an insulator in high-voltage circuit breakers as it shows high arc-quenching ability.

Packaging

Supplied in a carbon steel lecture bottle with a CGA180M/CGA110F needle valve installed.

Compatible with the following:
  • Aldrich® lecture-bottle station systems
  • Aldrich® lecture-bottle gas regulators
