General description

五溴化磷与五氧化二磷在高温下反应生成四溴化磷。 对其 Raman 光谱进行了研究，据报道该分子具有点群对称性 C3v。通过与三溴化镓反应，在 154·0℃ 熔点下，氧溴化磷参与 1：1 加成离子化合物的制备。该离子化合物含有非金属阳离子 POBr2+。

Application

在 2，4，6-三溴嘧啶的合成中，氧溴化磷 (V) 可用作溴化试剂。可用于制备溴杂环化合物。
