- LIOtBu可以在不存在任何过渡金属催化剂的情况下介导酮与伯醇的α-烷基化反应。
- LIOtBu是使用DMF作为溶剂，从取代的炔丙醇和芳基/烷基异氰酸酯，合成3,4,5-三取代的3H-恶唑-2-酮和3,4-二取代的（Z）-恶唑烷-2-酮的有效碱。
