叠氮化钾可用作合成以下物质的试剂：
- 在咪唑催化剂的存在下，3-O-（3-甲基磺酰氧基丙氧基）雌酮通过亲核叠氮作用得到
- 3-O-（-3-叠氮丙基）雌酮。
- 在四丁基溴化铵作为催化剂的存在下，由 α-溴代苯乙酮衍生物得到叠氮苯甲酰基衍生物。
