Application

Regioselective zincation of pyridines and related azines to synthesize zincated pyridines and azines.(1)
Chemoselective direct zincation of arenes and heteroarenes to synthesize polyfunctional aryl and heteroaryl zinc reagents.
Regioselective zincation of thiazoles to synthesize zincated thiazoles, which readily reacts with various electrophiles to form highly functionalized thiazoles.
