Features and Benefits

甲烷用作碳化物和金刚石薄膜化学气相沉积 (CVD) 的碳源。

Application

Methane is a colourless, odourless, and flammable gas that is lighter than air. Methane is used as a fuel for power generation in gas turbines and steam boilers; household cooking and heating, and for vehicles (compressed natural gas, CNG). It is also a feedstock of choice for production of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, methanol, acetic acid, and myriad organic compounds. Gas is easy to handle in a small, light pressure can, while the disposable container allows for aluminium recycling when finished.

Understanding the uptake and storage of gases by microporous materials is important for our future energy security. As such, we demonstrate here the application of two-dimensional NMR relaxation experiments for probing the admission and corresponding exchange dynamics of methane within
