四丁基氯化铵 (TBACl) 可用作相转移催化剂用于合成:
TBACl 还可被用于与五氧化二磷一起用于更绿色的脱氧氯化反应。

- 2-氨基-4H-色烯衍生物,通过醛、丙二腈 和 α或 β-萘酚缩合反应制备。
