Silver nitrate is a white crystalline salt, and it is less light-sensitive than other silver halides.. It can simply be produced by dissolving silver in nitric acid and then evaporating the solution.

应用

Silver nitrate can be used:

As a lithium storage material for lithium-ion batteries due to its lithiation/delithiation behavior.
To fabricate Ag decorated rGO electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction in zinc air batteries.
