Product is a benchtop stable reagent for the photocatalyzed cyclopropanation of olefins under mild conditions. Side reactions involving typically reactive functional groups are avoided, allowing chemoselective and rapid conversion of olefins to the medicinally relevant cyclopropyl moeity.
