Cobalt(II,III) oxide (Co₃O₄) 99.9% trace metals basis is a highly pure inorganic compound offered in a powder form, with a cobalt concentration of 71-74%. This black, antiferrimagnetic material exhibits a high melting point of 895 °C, confirming its excellent thermal stability. The compound features a normal spinel structure where Co²⁺ ions occupy tetrahedral sites and Co³⁺ ions are located in octahedral sites within a cubic close-packed lattice. These characteristics make Co₃O₄ robust and reliable for scientific research and industrial applications.
