General description

PLGA-b-PGA block copolymer is a innovative material engineered to accelarate drug delivery and biomedical research. This amphiphilic copolymer combines the hydrophobic, biodegradable properties of PLGA with the hydrophilic, biocompatible nature of poly(glutamic acid) (PGA), offering unmatched versatility for tailored therapeutic applications.

Application

This polymer is a amphiphilic diblock copolymer composed of a hydrophobic PLGA block and a hydrophilic poly(glutamic acid) block. PLGA is a biocompatible and biodegradable polymer that has been approved by the FDA and the EMA for biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. Poly(glutamic acid) is biodegradable, non-toxic and non-immunogenic macromolecules. This biodegradable, biocompatible polymer can self-assemble to form nanoparticles, such as micelles and polymersomes, for controlled release of molecules applications
