General description
N,N-二甲基苯胺（DMA）是一种N,N-二取代苯胺。DMA与苯甲醚（ANS）和叔丁基甲基醚（MTBE）的二元混合物的热物理和热动力学性质已被报道。 在酸性缓冲液中，它因阳性氧化作用可在铂电极上形成N,N,N′,N′-四甲基联苯胺。DMA在碱性条件下可与重氮盐结合形成甲基橙。它在乙腈中可使用N-溴琥珀酰亚胺/硝酸银（I）试剂系统通过硝化反应形成邻硝基和对硝基衍生物。
