Application

- 还原酶功能:在人肝脏醛还原酶的纯化和鉴定中研究DL-甘油醛二聚体,着重它的代谢解毒作用,对于涉及药物代谢和毒性的应用有重要意义(Petrash and Srivastava, 1982)。
- 原生动物代谢通路:以DL-甘油醛二聚体为底物,研究束状带短膜虫(Crithidia fasciculata)产出的醛还原酶的酶促特性,解析原虫的代谢通路,对于开发抗寄生虫感染疗法有重要意义(Kobayashi, 1982)。
