磷酸钠玻璃包含Na2O–P2O5。它在硬水处理中用作隔离剂，也在粘土加工和颜料生产中用作分散剂。在钠离子电池中，磷酸钠玻璃可以用作固体电解质。
应用
磷酸钠玻璃45型(polyP45)可作为微生物中无机聚磷酸盐残留的提取和定量的参考物质。
生化/生理作用
有报道称用于蛋白质结合和螯合，以及骨质钙化研究。
