General description

In liquid-liquid extractions, the two immiscible liquids separate into different layers where the liquid with the higher density collects in the lower part of the vessel and can be drained off via the stopcock. The funnel stem has an integral ground cone joint for easy incorporation into a jointed glassware assembly.
