一般描述

27-羟基胆固醇（27-HC）是由胆固醇在肝脏中的甾醇27-羟化酶作用下合成的。在0.15至0.73 μM的循环范围中，它是一种丰富的氧化甾醇。27-HC是胆汁合成的底物。27-羟基胆固醇-d6是27-羟基胆固醇的氘代形式。

应用

27-羟基胆固醇-d6已用于：
  • 心脏线粒体样品同位素稀释质谱分析中的内标物
  • 用作血浆甾醇定量的气相色谱-质谱（GC-MS）中的内标物
  • 作为用于加标血浆样品氘代内标，用于液相色谱和串联质谱（LC-MS-MS）分析

生化/生理作用

27-羟基胆固醇（27-HC）是一种弱肝X受体（LXR）激动剂和选择性雌激素受体调节剂（SERM）。在高胆固醇血症中观察到了27-HC的水平升高。27-HC与乳腺癌肿瘤和胶质母细胞瘤进展有关。27-HC可能有助于治疗非酒精性脂肪性肝炎。27-HC的水平升高与动脉粥样硬化病变相关。
