General description
Exclusively from Avanti, the Facade™ Detergent Kit is designed to allow for the convenient evaluation of 5 unique Facade™ detergent reagents for their ability to stabilize membrane proteins. These facial detergents are two-dimensional amphiphiles with both hydrophobic and hydrophilic faces. This new class of detergents represents a departure from traditional one-dimensional polar-head/nonpolar-tail molecules and have a superior ability to stabilize integral membrane proteins.
