应用

19:0 Lyso PC has been used for the quantification of lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) in microsomes by mass spectrometry. It has also been used for plasma lipidome analysis of cows.

生化/生理作用

Lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) modifies various biological functions in different cell-types, like endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, monocytes, macrophages and T-cells. It is associated with atherosclerosis and inflammatory diseases. LPC stimulates many second messengers including, protein kinase C, extracellular-signal-regulated kinases and protein tyrosine kinases.
