Biochem/physiol Actions
Lyso phosphoglycerol (Lyso PG) and acyl-CoA facilitates the synthesis of phosphoglycerol using lysophosphatidylglycerol acyltransferase 1 (LPGAT1). Lysophospholipids exhibits detergent- like physical property.
General description
Lyso-phospholipids are non bilayer-forming lipids, which are produced in γ-proteobacteria. They are present in normal bacterial membranes.
