General description

Cationic lipids like DODMA are recognized as non-viral transporters for gene therapy. DODMA is employed in the creation of cationic liposomes or lipid nanoparticles (LNP) that require a neutral or minimal zeta potential. DODMA exhibits high efficacy in encapsulating nucleic acids because it can temporarily lower the pH.
