一般描述
由于对广泛的化合物类别均有高反应性，MSTFA（N-甲基-N-三甲基硅烷三氟乙酰）是一种重要的三甲基硅烷化试剂，同时也是一种常用试剂。GC-MS优化研究表明，这种试剂可单独或与1%三甲基氯硅烷联合使用作为催化剂，用于复杂混合物的硅烷化。它的反应性与BSA和BSTFA相似。
应用
MSTFA可作为衍生化试剂可用于：
- 类固醇雌激素分析，如雌激素 (E1)、17α-炔雌醇 (EE2) 以及醋酸去甲雄三烯醇酮代谢物和甲烯雌醇乙酸酯气相色谱质谱联用(GC-MS)法的环境基质。
