General description
21 kDa
cdc42是小GTP结合蛋白Rho家族的成员,在细胞骨架肌动蛋白组织和转化中发挥作用。Rac在cdc42下游激活,或被Ras信号独立激活,Rac反过来刺激Rho。cdc42的激活刺激丝状伪足的形成,而Rac导致板状伪足的形成,Rho刺激肌动蛋白应力纤维的形成。cdc42/Rac通路的效应子包括NADPH氧化酶(Phox)和SAPK1/JNK激酶家族。后一条通路由PAK激酶激活,PAK激酶是cdc42的直接靶标。
