General description

Method: colorimetric with color-matching vessel 0.10 - 0.25 - 0.5 - 1.0 mg/l NH MQuant®
This MQuant® Hydrazine test kit is designed for the colorimetric determination of hydrazine in boiler water and boiler feed water, utilizing a color-matching vessel. The colorimetric method involves a chemical reaction that produces a color change proportional to the concentration of hydrazine present in the sample. This reaction can be quantified using the item 1.08018 color-matching vessel for hydrazine testing. The test can be used in

· Boiler feed water

Method
In acidic solution hydrazine reacts with 4-(dimethylamino)benzaldehyde to form a yellow compound. The hydrazine concentration is measured semiquantitatively by visual comparison of the color of the measurement solution with the color zones of a color-matching vessel.
