Biochem/physiol Actions

糖原合成酶激酶3β(GSK3β)通过胰岛素依赖性通路调节糖原代谢参与无数信号传导通路,包括细胞周期、细胞增殖和发炎等细胞过程。GSK3β介导胰岛素信号通路的负性调节,最终导致2型糖尿病。GSK3β可作为肿瘤抑制剂,抑制细胞的肿瘤转化。它是Wnt/β-连环蛋白传导通路的关键调节因子。GSK3β调节异常与心血管疾病、双相障碍和神经退行性疾病有关。

General description

糖原合成酶激酶3β(GSK3β)是丝氨酸-苏氨酸类激酶,分布于大部分真核细胞中。GSK3β基因位于人染色体3q13.3。GSK3β由N端β折叠片结构域与C端α螺旋结构域相连而成。
