Modified Tween^®Letheen Broth

Modified Tween^®-Letheen Broth has a significantly improved nutritional content when compared to the Letheen-Broth. This has higher meat peptone concentration along with casein and yeast extract vitamin sources. Addition of sodium thiosulfate (neutralizes iodine and chlorine) and sodium bisulfite (neutralizes formaldehyde, formaldehyde releasers and Glutaraldehyde) has improved the efficacy of the inactivating agents.

Modified Tween^®-Letheen-Broth is designed for the enumeration of fastidious microorganisms in the presence of disinfectant residues.
