一般描述

Maximum RecoveryDiluent (MRD) with Lecithin and Tween® 80 also known asTryptone Salt Broth is a balanced isotonic strength solution. The combinedprotective effect from peptone(casein) in the diluent with osmotic support ofthe saline (sodium chloride) forms the balanced isotonic strength.
Lecithin and Polysorbate (Tween®) 80, are effective against quaternary ammoniumcompounds, amphoteric surfactants, benzamidines, chlorhexidines and dequadin.Polysorbate 80 inactivates benzyl alcohol, carbanilides, dichlorbenzylalcohols, benzoic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid and its esters, phenols,phenylethyl alcohols and PHB esters.
The low concentration of peptone prevents microbial multiplication within 1-2hours of diluting the sample.

应用

Maximum Recovery Diluent (MRD) with Lecithin and Tween® 80 is used to recover maximum microbes from test samples. It is used for sample preparation and dilution of stock suspensions of test samples.
