General description
TCMG Top Agar is designed for bacteriophage multiplication and growth. The agar supports lawn culture of the host microorganism and the associated phages.
TCMG Top Agar is supplied with casein and peptone which promotes enhanced growth of the host organism thereby aiming towards a higher bacteriophage growth. Post lytic cycle, the multiplied bacteriophages can be extracted and analyzed or used for further experiments as the medium allows rapid diffusion of the grown phages.

Application
TCMG Top Agar is used for the growth and multiplication of bacteriophage and corresponding plasmid DNA from host strains.

Production will take place at Millipore SAS in Molsheim, France. Deliveries will be executed in accordance with the terms and conditions of MLS RTU GmbH.
