General description
VRK2是丝氨酸/苏氨酸蛋白激酶的痘苗相关激酶(VRK)家族成员。该蛋白在人类组织中广泛表达。在分裂活跃的细胞中表达增加，包括睾丸、白细胞、胚胎肝脏和癌细胞。蛋白位于内质网，可磷酸化酪蛋白，本身还可自磷酸化。其基因编码多个不同的剪接转录本。
