General description
皮质类固醇激素是响应压力而合成的。结合并激活盐皮质激素和糖皮质激素受体，导致基因组表达的改变。类固醇诱导的蛋白质合成变化最终会影响通过膜的离子电导。还可在鼠类骨髓中诱导细胞凋亡。
