General description
在大肠埃希菌中表达的重组人表皮生长因子（54个氨基酸）。 除了一个额外的N端蛋氨酸，与天然人EGF相同。人EGF与小鼠EGF同源性为70%，并已显示具有相似的生物学活性。对来自组织（例如乳房，角膜，表皮，真皮，肝脏，胰腺，神经，羊膜和肾上腺髓质）的多种外胚层和内胚层来源的细胞具有促有丝分裂作用。EGF与其170 kDa跨膜受体的结合导致受体的二聚化，内在受体酪氨酸激酶的激活以及导致细胞增殖和/或分化的复杂信号转导级联反应的启动。用作在预防细胞凋亡中的存活因子。
Biochem/physiol Actions
ED₅₀ = 100-400 pg/ml，通过其刺激EGF反应性小鼠成纤维细胞系Balb/3T3中³H-胸苷掺入的能力来衡量。
Preparation Note
复溶后，等分并冷冻长期保存（-20°C或-70°C），或冷藏（4°C）短期保存。避免溶液反复冻融。储备溶液在4°C下可稳定保存1个月，在-20°C或-70°C下可稳定保存3个月。
用含有≥0.1％HSA或BSA的10 mM乙酸复溶成浓度≥10 µg/ml的溶液。
