Lumican, His•Tag^®, CF, Mouse, Recombinant

Recombinant, murine lumican, consisting of amino acids 19-338, fused at the C-terminus to a His•Tag sequence, and expressed in NS0-derived mouse myeloma cells. Lumincan a 40-kDa member of the small leucine-rich repeat proteoglycans (SLRPs) family/Class II subfamily of proteins. It is known for its ability to modulate collagen fibrillogenesis and role in cell proliferation regulation.

Cell adhesion: 50-70% after 50 min at 37°C as measured by the ability of immobilized lumican to supoprt the adhesion of 5 X 10⁴ BCE C/D-1b bovine cornea-derived endothelial cells.

Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered PBS.

Following reconstitution refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage or aliquot and freeze (-20°C) for long-term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at 4°C or for up to 3 months at -20°C.

Reconstitute to 200 µg/ml with sterile PBS.
