General description

一种有效的，可渗透细胞的，非微管蛋白相互作用的有丝分裂抑制剂。用单极纺锤体阻止哺乳动物细胞有丝分裂。在体外，它特异性抑制有丝分裂驱动蛋白Eg5的运动，Eg5是一种参与有丝分裂纺锤体组装和维持的马达蛋白（IC₅₀=14µM）。
