NRG1-β1/HRG1-β1 ECD, Human, Recombinant

Recombinant, human neuregulin 1-β1/heregulin 1-β1 extracellular domain (NRG1-beta1/HRG1-beta1 ECD) consisting of amino acids 2-246 and expressed in E. coli. All NRG1 isoforms contain an EGF-like domain (β-splice variant) that is used to directly bind to the ErbB3 or ErbB4 receptor tyrosine kinases.

ED₅₀ = 2.5-12.5 ng/ml as measured in a serum-free proliferation assay using MCF7 human breast adenocarcinoma cells.

Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered acetonitrile, TFA, BSA.

Following reconstitution refrigerate (4°C) for short term-storage or aliquot and freeze (-20°C) for long-term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at 4°C or for up to 3 months at -20°C.

Reconstitute 50 100 µg/ml with sterile PBS containing ≥1% human or bovine serum albumin.
