General description

Native prekallikrein from human plasma. Single-chain glycoprotein that participates in the early phase of blood coagulation, kinin formation, and fibrinolysis.

Physical form

In 150 mM NaCl, 4 mM NaOAc-HCl, pH 5.3.

Preparation Note

Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-70°C).

Prepared from plasma that has been shown by certified tests to be negative for HBsAg and for antibodies to HIV and HCV.
