Protein C, Activated, Human Plasma

Native, activated protein C from human plasma. Glycoprotein composed of a heavy chain and a light chain held together by a disulfide bond. Its natural substrates are activated forms of clotting Factors V and VIII.

In 100 mM NaCl, 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.4.

Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-70°C).

Prepared from plasma that has been shown by certified tests to be negative for HBsAg and for antibodies to HIV and HCV.
