PhosphoDetect Anti-Src (pTyr⁴¹⁸) Mouse mAb (9A6)

Purified mouse monoclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~60 kDa Src protein phosphorylated at Tyr⁴¹⁸ (human, rat), Tyr⁴²³ (mouse), and Tyr⁴¹⁶ (chicken, v-Src).

Recognizes the ~60 kDa Src protein phosphorylated at Tyr⁴¹⁸ in chick embryo fibroblasts expressing human wild-type Src.

This PhosphoDetect Anti-Src (pTyr⁴¹⁸) Mouse mAb (9A6) is validated for use in ELISA, Immunoblotting, Immunocytochemistry for the detection of Src (pTyr⁴¹⁸).

a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acids surrounding the pTyr⁴¹⁸ phosphorylation site of human Src

ELISA (0.05 µg/ml)

Immunoblotting (1 µg/ml, colorimetric; 0.1 µg/ml, chemiluminescence)

Immunocytochemistry (1 µg/ml, immunofluorescence)

Lyophilized from 2X PBS, PEG, sucrose.

Reconstitute in 1 ml sterile dH₂O (15 min, room temperature). Following reconstitution, refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage or aliquot, flash-freeze in liquid nitrogen, and freeze (-70°C) for long-term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 3 months at 4°C or for up to 1 year at -70°C. Thaw aliquots at 37°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles of solutions.

Does not cross-react with non-phosphorylated Src, or with unrelated phosphorylation sites. The sequence of the immunogen is conserved in human (Tyr⁴¹⁸), mouse (Tyr⁴²³), rat (Tyr⁴¹⁸), chicken (Tyr⁴¹⁶), and c-Src (Tyr⁴¹⁶). Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the optimal working dilution.
