General description
Purified mouse monoclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~60 kDa Src protein phosphorylated at Tyr418 (human, rat), Tyr423 (mouse), and Tyr416 (chicken, v-Src).
Recognizes the ~60 kDa Src protein phosphorylated at Tyr418 in chick embryo fibroblasts expressing human wild-type Src.
This PhosphoDetect Anti-Src (pTyr⁴¹⁸) Mouse mAb (9A6) is validated for use in ELISA, Immunoblotting, Immunocytochemistry for the detection of Src (pTyr⁴¹⁸).

Lyophilized from 2X PBS, PEG, sucrose.
Preparation Note
Reconstitute in 1 ml sterile dH₂O (15 min, room temperature). Following reconstitution, refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage or aliquot, flash-freeze in liquid nitrogen, and freeze (-70°C) for long-term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 3 months at 4°C or for up to 1 year at -70°C. Thaw aliquots at 37°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles of solutions.
Other Notes
Does not cross-react with non-phosphorylated Src, or with unrelated phosphorylation sites. The sequence of the immunogen is conserved in human (Tyr418), mouse (Tyr423), rat (Tyr418), chicken (Tyr416), and c-Src (Tyr416). Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the optimal working dilution.
